Hmm says not correct? version 2.2.9.0 make a difference? Maybe a copy paste thing, thats longer than all the other codes. Or you snagged the happyface into whatever generates it. hehe

Hi all,

This is my first post here, (aside from the mandatory HELLO requirement.)
I wasn't sure whether or not to make my own post for this..

Anywho, to anyone wanting a license code for their AlfaOBD software..
I HAVE A SOLUTION.
I found this out on my own, just now. Worked on v2.2.9.0

okay, the tutorial is as follows:

1. download the how to RAR file originally uploaded in this post. (I extracted to Alfa folder.. not sure if this is required.)
2. open a new, blank, page in notepad (or equivalent.)
3. dont write anything, simply go to File > Save As, and save your file as "License.bat"
4. now you can close notepad, go back to the lic_gen.exe file downloaded earlier. open it.
5. input your request code, and select alfa main folder when prompted.

license registration SHOULD, this time, succeed.
last step: ENJOY

(it should automatically create a "license.dat" file in your folder. i left my .bat file created in notepad there as well, just incase.. but you MAY can delete it now. not sure.)
