Hi guys, I am trying to read eeprom rh56 which is in prius transmission ecu for immo. Can anyone tell me what this chip is and if it can be re written.

Ok I will give it a try and report back. Is there a way to tell if the pin configuration is not normal or just with trial and error? Thanks a lot.

Look at the PCB pads. The standard chip has GND on pin 5, rotated one is on pin 7.

Look at the PCB. 6 and 7 pin unused!!!
Disconnect 6 and 7 pins in programmer panel. Write OK.Last edited by Mr_Fix; 20th July, 2012 at 04:11 AM.
