    Default Renault SAGEM S3000

    I tried to swap motor ECU sagem S3000 in Megane II 1.6 with other used (original one have internal elctric fault) but second one used won***729;t communicate in car. Red lamp for immo on dash goes on also fan run constantly and there`s no chance to connect to motor ecu with can clip.If I connect motor ECU on bench with connection like in attach than I can make full diagnostic.I use all files from DK for 95160 eprom, but no success.So if anybody have a dump for this bastartd which alowed me to communicate with ecu in car and star the car I`m prepared to pay.

    @morito changing 95160 is no solution!

    @zizzou good soft but I need solution only for this ecu and in this case 580 eur is too much.

    Hi mate
    1.Are all numbers on secondhand ecu exact same.?

    2.If same . Did you swop 95160 from old ecu to secondhand known good ecu?

    3.Did you change UPC with other one.?

    4. Does steering lock go zippyty lock and unlock when you insert card and press button for start.?

    5. How far do you get in with diagnostics on this vehicle??

    Having checked your problem i think fault might be steering lock or UPC.

    You are loosing can communication through UPC to ecu.

    Default megane ecu prob

    Hi mate, first off, what was original problem with ecu?

    Second, the reason the fan is coming on is that your ecu has no power supply, and this is also the reason that you cannot communicate with diagnostics.

    Most common prob is bad fuse box in engine bay, I did one of these recently.

    Check multi plug by end of cylinder head, going to injectors, white wires should be 12 volts, if not then you have above fault.

    Add 12 volts from batt+ and start car to confirm.

    yes,it's true,but there is always a solution
    i suggeste to buy this soft in groupe and then we share it
    me (1),you(2),is there others?
    if we are 10 it will coste for every one 58 euro

    As i said UPC --Fusebox engine bay --Open it and fix it .

    Again, with old fault ecu car start and run, problem is that somethimes go in limp mode an run on 2000 revs.
    New used ECU is from compatible car with same ecu numbers (Megane 1.6 16v).
    I swap eprom with NO success!
    Fun is runing on because new used ecu is blocked from immo and also blocked communication via UCH to can clip, if I connect motor ECU on the bench direct to diagnostic unit than I can communicate without any problem.

    Have you copied 95160 to other ecu 95160 or did you move the chip over??

    I think 95160 have got some protected bytes on this ecu .

    so if you copy use new 95160..

    your fault lies with the 'new' ecu mate, if you have all correct power supplies then fan should be off...

    @PierreTheron - I swap eeprom, no success, than I copied eeprom content in new ST95160 and also no success!

    @ninja123 - m8 Car run with old ecu without any problem, somethimes all day.Why spend time to check power suplies and other stuff arrount motor ECU???

    I found this guy on ebay, he sels decoded s3000 ecus and he offered me immo off dump for s3000 family ecus for 100?. Anybody try this?

    I have a plan to buy this dump next week if anybody have an interest to join than PM to me.
