Does your engine have 6 head bolts?

    Con Rods -
    lube the threads.
1st stage - tighten both nuts evenly to 140 lb.ft.
loosen both nuts completely, not the cap.
2nd stage - tighten both nuts evenly to 55 lb.ft then turn 60 degrees (1 hex)

    Main Caps -
    lube the threads.
1st stage - tighten both bolts evenly to 150 lb.ft. then turn 30 degrees (0.5 hex)
loosen both bolts, not the cap
2nd stage - tighten evenly to 140 degrees, then rotate the bolt a further 30 degrees (0.5 hex), check the crankshaft end float, 0.007" - 0.013". if end float is OK lock the locktabs.

This is for 6 bolt heads -
lube the bolts, keep the gasket dry.
Tighten from centre to ends in a criss cross pattern to 450 lb.ft., in 100 lb.ft. steps.

The steps quoted are direct from the manual

    150, loosen, 140 + 30 degrees

I think you have bent crank or insufficient oil clearance.

    150 lb.ft., loosen, 140 lb.ft + 30 degrees.
150 lb.ft. plus 30 degrees will be too much

check your main bearing bores 4.749" -4.750"
    crank journals 4.497" - 4.500"
    check bearing clearances with plastigauge 0.0015" - 0.005" new (0.0015" - 0.007" used)
