Default Icecrypt S3000HDCCI+ vs Blade 7000s HD

    Hi Guys,

Following my earlier post, I have decided to get the Icecrypt or the Blade.

The Icecrypt is considerably cheaper but cannot find that much information, is the box easy to configure, is it linux or not?

Is there much support for Icecrypts, is EPG/channel lists good etc?

    Help appreciated as always!!

The Blade 7000 has far more support and there are quite a few members on here using them and of course it will do everything you want it to with a patched firmware.

I have both the Blade 7000s and a Star track SRT2014HD which is basically the same as the icecrypt. Both have similar features and both have excellent backup and fantastic picture quality. The upside with the Icecrypt/Star Track is that they are also compatible with Nasscam/SPCS servers. I prefer the Icecrypt/Star Track in every day use over the Blade though.
