Default Ford Transit Fuel Pump Programming IDS

Hello everyone.... fitting a new FIP to a 2004 Transit 2.4, it will need programming to the van, and i have the IDS. In BODY>PATS ive found Module Initialisation, then i can scroll down and find "Fitting New Pump"..... do i still need to programme keys to the vehicle, or simply execute module initialisation....? Cheers!

    fit the replacement pump.
goto body/security/pats/new module and select replace pump.
You will find either coded and timed access OR timed and timed access.
Coded access will get you past the PCM but the timed process is built into the pump regardless. 12 minutes PCM access then 10 minutes pump (clear RIM)
After the pump is cleared FOLLOW THE ON SCREEN PROMPTS regarding ignition on off etc to recode.
Keys do not have to be recoded.
