    Default ISUZU NPR FAULT DTC 340 HELP!!!

    I have in my shop, a truck isuzu npr 2005 with 6hk1 motor, a fault DTC 340, I checked wiring, negative, voltage reference, I have changed sensors, but when I connect the scanner no recognizes the camshaft and the value is never present on the scanner, someone has had this problem??

    I''m not sure what code 340 is off of the top of my head, but it seems you are saying it is the camshaft timing sensor. Have you checked the terminals in the ECU? Also have you made sure that there isn't an issue with the tone wheel on the cam?

    Thanks for your interest friend, if you check all the wiring from the sensor to the ecm harness.
    all I can think is that this bad ECM and reprogramming need to be

    so far as many engines I've seen with this fault

    There is a TSB for the wiring on the cam sensor, I'll try to upload it when I get a chance if you are still working on this truck.

    Just noticed this is for a 4hk1, sorry, I guess I should have read a little more carefully, I just looked up NPR service bulletins...

    this engine is a 4hk1
    thanks friend for the tbs, I've checked continuity with a multimeter each and every good, I will try disassembling the harness to review it

    Okay, I noticed in your first post you said you had a 6hk1. That is where my confusion came from then.

    I sorry you are rigth, is not a 6hk1, the real engine is a 4hk1
