Hi, please can read file from immo box. post here.thanks
Sorry I dont understand, do you mean with an eprom reader as I haven't got one or even have the skill to use it.CLip wont talk to uch either ,(clone)
read eeprom 93c66 with an eprom reader like ponyprog and post dump here
read eprom = corect
work
Ony someone with access to Renault net, like dealer can get code from vin.
There are tools that will extract from uch via obd.
I have Truecode with the basic module but it pulled the incorrect code, apparantly because its had a newer UCH fitted so the code will be incorrect.
Hi
what are you trying to do?
make key with clip?
I would disagree with you about truecode. The UCH is fitted all the way through 2006 and on, although not sure about some of the late campus models.
The Early BMT unit I think you mean is a 93c46 chip changed to a UCH 93c66 with the model update ( when head lamps changed )
All I can sugest now is dump the eeprom contents or do a fresh post to attract the right members and ask for a Pin from Vin Clio.

I had a problem where the car wouldn't start with the red immobiliser light falshing with ignition on, so i was attemptin to re-code the keys just incase they were at fault.
True code wouldn't read the correct code and after speaking with the manufactuer of truecode he says it will not work as its had a newer version (campus type most likely) so it will calculate the code wrong.
This is 2001 but with a 2006 UCH. Even so i always thought the truecode remaiined with the car for life even if a new UCH had been fitted.
So basically Truecode isn't actually reading the truecode.
thanks

Hi,
the problem is most likly to be the relays or fuses in the fuse box near the battery.
unplug the white plug in the uch then plug back in to reset after a ring decoder fault as this can stop the car starting until its cleared. If the c/locking works its prob not the key.
Push the red fuel re-set cut off switch near the battery. The fuel pump should make a moise for about 1 sec if you connect the bat terminal with the ign in on possition.
The 12 dig code is read from the uch so unless you swapped 93c66 you are reading the code for the wrong car.
So if the new uch was fittef at the dealer what code would it need to install and program.
Would the original true code no longer be correct.
Also the car is running, I disconnected the battery for 2 days and replaced with a new one and it started.
Just trying to understand the immobiliser code situation as buying kit for ?400 that failed even though I selected correctly was very amusing.
Hi,
once a new unit is fitted and coded it can not be used again on another car by the dealer. When the dealer fits they log onto Renault.net with the vin number and get the 12 digit code. If the car runs its not the uch, you can unplug the 3 plugs in the uch while the car is running and it won't stop. The uch simply stores the immo code accepts or rejects it then informs the ecu to proceed / or not.
Unplugging the white plug will do the same as disconecting the battery, sometimes leaving the ign on for 5 mins does the trick.
I am reluctant to critise truecode but what you said about the newer uch does not make sence. Having said that I have had problems with the later campus model.
The problem lies in a) the actual key b) the fuses / relays c) the loom
a + b being most common
The truecode would poss not commect is there was a fault. So you can only expect trucode to work on a car that is in good working order, as in a lost key situation not with power supply problems.
logging in.
