    Default nissan almera dtc p1612 CHAIN OF ECU-IMMU

    HELLO FRIENDS
    I have a problem with nissan almera 2001 the car don;t start with immo problem i tried to program a key for it without success every time it give wrong pin code i changed 2 immo box and the problem is the same
    i tried to diagnostic the car it show the fault code p1610 and p1612 attached in the photo
    any idea to solve it pls?

    Probably key, post a pic from bcm to get pin code. The FSM gives you diag procedure to follow this dtc as well.

    no its not the key i tried it on another car also i changed 2 bcm without success i tried the same bcm on another with the same code it worked so the problem should be from the car but what can it be or how can i solve it ?

    broken wire between immobox on ignition barrel and engine ecu,replace/repair this wire and job done.

    check to see if you have continuity between terminal 1 of immo and pin 116 of ecm if petrol or pin 410 if diesel,should be brown/yellow colour.

    Hello Friend.
    The fault code being viewed in the scanner comes when there are problems with the ignition switch. well check this switch in any case there are problems with the antenna coil.

    *THINK*

    Z786 had a thread going about one of these, *THINK* was a high riesitanse posive connection in the fuse box area.

    Hiya, used to get this simlar fault loads of times in the nissan dealer ship, we found that fault was due to loose fitting steering lock(so it loose on collume remove and fill some of the bracket and refit so tight) and bad connect at the terminals going into the immu (ring around the ignition lock) once these have been repaired turn the ignition on three time and start the engine on third turn of key so to bring it out of lock mode

    hello friends i already solve the problem there is a positif line missing on the bcm i put it and i reprogram the key
    and the car start

    Dosen't matter how hard is to repair something as long is made by humans and thinked by humans !
