    Default Mk3 Golf 1.8 T Conversion

    Ok So i have managed to do some work on my own car , been up to my eyes all year, keeping customers happy . here goes

    Have Mk3 Golf which i have fitted a 1.8t engine in AUQ all fitted in the car perfectly have kept it all original with engine loom and wired up it now starts and cuts out and i keep get these codes

    Do not take seriously everything related to the ECU programming, etc.
    I just play and experiment, actually as I do not understand anything about it

    Did one of them *COUGH* Years ago - ended up fitting an Emerald M3KD as the word 'immo off' wasn't invented at that time!

    ON TOPIC:-

    Sounds like you have lost a power feed to the ECU or the auxilleray sensors.

    Now not sure but there is an INFERIOR forum, dedicated to VW Transporters, TOTALLY INFERIOR, BUT they have a thread that tells you WORD FOR WORD, how to install a 1Z diesel into a T4 - worth having a look for a LEECH ONLY. There might be some saddo who has fitted one of these to one of them.

    Type in google "INFERIOR VW T4 Forum NO WERE AS GOOD AS DK"

    Rumor has it look for member 'Aggie' - then GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE.

    Bump ,, Have checked and all power supply's are present , really lost its got to be an immobilizer issue has anybody got a good file for this ecu that i can try.

    here is immo off file. but immo is not your problem. like others said, you have wiring issues.

    Ended up being a *****ed ecu , got an ecu put immo off file made by ecuvonix and it started first time , yipee now i have about a million things to do , to get it on the road but least it runs
