Default Clone gm mongoose pro help

    Hi all
I bought a gm mongoose pro clone cable
It's new model with dark blue case and black cord

It comes with gm mdi drivers and software
But I can't get this cable to work with tis2000

Does anyone have just plain drivers to suit this cable
As I can get windows to find the correct driver for it unless I install a lot of software that came on the cd which is mainly for the mdi
Which makes windows see if but still not work on tis2000

I tried proper drew tech drivers but windows still won't recognise the cable

I emailed shop I bought them off and I am waiting a reply
I think I should have spent a bit more and bought an mdi

    Thanks

    This might help

If you using GM***8217;s TIS or SPS, you will need to setup a J2534 Pass-Thru Driver. You can do this by following these steps:

    1) Click on the configuration drop-down menu and select IO Management

    2) On the IO Management screen, click DRIVER to add J2534 support to TIS. In the INSTALL DRIVER box, type or browse to c:\program files\cosids\bin\j2534.dll and click INSTALL. This will install the driver and bring you back to the IO management
    screen.

    3) On the IO Management screen, click ADD to add the new interface. For the LOGICAL NAME type ***8220;Generic Pass Thru***8221; and for Driver choose ***8220;J2534 Pass Thru Driver***8221;. You must type the LOGICAL NAME exactly as shown with a single space between words and capital G, P, T. If you mistype even one character or miss a space it will not work.

    4) On the IO Management screen select 'Generic Pass Thru', click PROPERTIES and choose a specific J2534 device. In the DEVICE NAME list choose YOUR J-2534 device. Return to this screen if you want to change to another J-2534 device later.

    5) Close I/O management and choose Service Programming System. Use the new GENERIC PASS THRU option as your
    diagnostic interface.
