Toyota Avensis 2009 T27 Electronic Parking Brake fault

Hi

I have toyota Avensis 2009 T27 with Electronic Parking Brake fault (water inside module). After replace EPB module (used ) parking brake began to work ,but I still have warnings on IPC. I check DTC and I have C1203 Vehicle information mismatch in EPB module. I have Techstream. What I should do after replace EPB module (used ).? Thx.

Only gues.... maybe you should swap memory from replaced module to new one.

Hi mate i found that need some do learning after any disconnecting or something

I will have car in tuesday so i will try do learning procedure. I will report result. ps change eeprom it is really last solution, because this module is difficult to open.

Guys i have customer who has an avensis that has already had a used epb unit fitted and at a guess he has a vin mismatch too

The old original unit is not available ,has anyone opened these to see if it has an eeprom memory inside that might holda vin number ?

Yes has eeprom inside don't remember type.
