    Default SCENIC ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE

    Hello guys!
I have problem with parking brake! Brake work normally just light on dash showing something is wrong. Check parking brake!
    On tester show DF042 problem.
First i check wires going under seat and found water damaged connector. So i clean it and couple of wires was broken so i soldier them one by one. When i fix all that the problem still remain. So i pull down main parking unit and check motherboard for water damage or something but i didn't find nothing special. So i put back but problem remain. Is there someone who fix this error?
Error: Force sensor feed fault. Now anyone know where that force sensor is ? Is sensor that white plastic block witch is connected to motherboard with FLEX cable?
If there is someone who can help me, ill be more then appreciated.

Have you tried to disconnect the battery to see if it clears like Vw Passats do.

also looks like BBA Reman fix them so could be a common thing

You are correct. The force sensor is the one connected via the flex cable. I've been having a play with these things. It seems to me that they are like airbag modules and when certain things go wrong (not all) data in the MCU eeprom appears that looks a bit like airbag crash data. I'm trying to get eeprom dumps from good working handbrakes - there are more than one MCU masks with the same PCB as well.

Just make sure everything is free and change the PCB inside the box - cut and join the 3 wires to the motor - this will save pissing about with the cables. The car doesn't seem to mind what MCU mask the parking brake module has. The ones I have changed have all swapped ok. Check the bite point and set up with the clip if necessary (I've done 3 and not had to do this).

(I've also had the wires go high resistance - green death inside the outer sheathing - between where they come out under the car and into the parking brake as well).
    V Series TMS470 / EEPROM data - encryption / decryption, totally pwned.

Hi, I never had a problem with Renault electronic handbrake. But I opened a few because of brake cable changing and the unit is the same one as on BMW E70. On BMW I have 3 till now with blue OMRON relay inside that was blown ... after replacement with new one all OK. But on renault I had problem with triple switch on gearbox and cluch pedal sensor. I attach picture of BMW EPB eystem but is same as renault.

    regards
