gm tech 2 for key programming

good day members...

i purchases a used gm tech2 with isuzu card. how ever when i try ptogramming transponder it says "approval from tis required". i have pc software as well. can someone who has this tool please explain to me the process of retrieving this approval ?

Buy another card from china and i ll be able to do that...

No, another card wont work. Use old card get Tis approval , internet connection ....

u need to have tis on your laptop
connect your tech2 to a laptop and then get tis approval

or u can buy a subscription online

anyway to program ecus or keys with tech2 u need
tech2 unit
old school laptop with d9 serial port or good usb to serial adapter
tis software

hello members

i cant get this tool to connect to pc tried connecting it to 3 pc. i think because it is china cone. perhaps purchasing an already tis approved isuzu/opel card ?

I've got tech 2 clone and proper tis software and it works fine
u need good USB to serial adapter
its all in the settngs
took me a week to get it all working fine
plus u need software on your tech 2 card to suit the vehicle
its not a plug and work system u need to play around abit

In tis first goto screen that shows tech2 screen on pc
then connect and disconnect
then try tis approval. It's all trial and error
just remember tis is the worst and most unstable software out there heheh

you just need pin code , i did isuzu trooper with tech2 isuzu card no problem.

with a proprly installed tis on your lap and the usb/seriel converter you should open "security access" on the main screen on tis, and go on from there. As sideshow said it's a bit tricky to configure the system settings, but it's all there.

thank you very much friends... all this info gives me piece of mind that i wasnt ripped off completely....

i downloaded new tis software via a torrent. so i am playing around wirth this to try and get it to work.
i tried security access but the "connecting to server screen" comes up and stays on.

please note that i do not have any dongle or anything for software. jus tech 2, adapters and opel and isuzu card as well as rj45 cable.

i will keep trying.
