    Default EHPAS programming on Ford Focus 2006

    Hi,
    Anyone help. Need to code a new electric power steering pump to a 2006 Focus. the new pump has been fitted and I can read the As built data with my FoCoM Does anyone know what to do next ????

    no idea but from inferior site if you can read it

    According to the local Ford garage, when this part is replaced they have to read some data from a control unit on the broken pump then copy it to the new "blank pump". The chap on the phone euphemistically called it a "suck and blow" part.

    All the questions should start from what car, what year, what engine is what fuel. What are the symptoms of the problem. Only then is what you know, what fault code, live data, what you have done.

    i have same problem with a ford focus : i change power steering pump with a new one ( old pump damaged by water , no communication on diagnostic ) now i have this code B2477 "Control module coding " i read as build data but i do not know what to do next ...can someone help me with this problem . Thanx

    You need asbuilt data from original module.with focom read original then replace with new when focom says,it will program data automatically. If old module no communication,then it looks like pass through from ford website for asbuilt info. Hope this helps
