    Few things to double-check Myo
Unplug Dreambox power cable from wall socket until prompted by
Dream-Up loader to turn on Dreambox.
BOX ALIVE & TALKING means rs-232 null modem is connecting,
and you will notice activity on PROGRESS BAR

Am sure you can, but save yourself lot of hassle by using old P.C.

DK1.1 or PLI-JADE are good cable images for clone boxes

If using old PC try Dream-Up 1.3.2.1 for clone boxes & use DK1.1
or Pli-Jade image for clone boxes. Use Flash-FXP program to edit
folders on image as it's simplest method of FTP for Dreambox.
