Depends what ecu have Zafira and most important what version of op-com you have.
On new engines like A17XX euro5 clone of OP-COM cannot regen DPF, but on old one Z17/Z19 you can regen DPF using op-com and 08/2010 version of SW.

    OP-COM DPF Regeneration

You can start the forced regeneration on the following models:
    Astra-H: Z19DT, Z19DTH, Z19DTL, Z17DTR, Z17DTJ
    Zafira-B: Z19DT, Z19DTH, Z19DTL, Z17DTR, Z17DTJ
    Vectra-C / Signum: Z19DT, Z19DTH, Z19DTL
    Corsa-D: Z13DTH, Z17DTR
    Antara: 2.0L Diesel engine

    Warning

The exhaust gas temperature will increase to over 600 ?C, so you must perform this outside,
    on a non-flammable ground.

The regeneration procedure is completely controlled by the engine control unit.

    Prerequisites
    Engine is running at idle
    Engine is fully warmed up
To avoid consequential damages, the DPF regeneration must be executed only once!

    EDC16 System

Note, after "DPF Regeneration" is finished live data "Diesel Particulate Filter
Saturation" will show 70%. When engine controller has performed a dynamic
    regeneration value will be changed.

DPF off and remove the DPF is the best option as doing a regen on a car that does not do many miles or just general short trips is a waste of time it will keep causing DPF problems. Just done an Insignia that had a DPF light on the customer drove for a few weeks like this and caused intercooler pipe to burst and turbo seals to go. Total bill was ? 1500 and thats not including the DPF replacement as I mapped it out and removed the DPF. Modern diesels are a nightmare !!
