    Default P2110, P2170 Ford BA Throttle limp home mode

    Hi

    I have a customer with a BA 6cyl Falcon, It has an intermittent problem with the throttle going into limp. The engine sometimes revs to about 3000RPM then starts to run very rough and from there the throttle has no response, after turning off the engine and restarting it its fine for another day,week or hours.

    The codes that it logs are as follows, P1270, "Engine or vehicle speed limit reached driver induced condition-torque intervention" & P2110, Throttle actuator control system forced limited RPM. There are no codes in any other systems.

    I have not seen the problem myself but the mechanic has. The problem occurs about twice a week and logs the same codes always.

    The throttle body, throttle pedal and the ECU have been replaced (throttle body and pedal genuine Ford and ECU is reco exchange).

    Tortle forsed limit rpm

    If u s
    Thing logic that no problem in thortle ecu or pedals

    Here bad perfomanse in engine and ecu train avoid damage bai throttle

    If here is misfairing check spark plugs - coils - fuel sistem

    As above I would exchange coils from known good car, and of course check plugs

    I have renewed the coils and plugs with genuine Ford coils and NGK plugs

    Ok mate

    But both codes toking about problem on engine first lode cleri sei that ecu cating all parametres and torque diferent from what sutbe
    Sekond one sei that ecu not allows more rpm because of first parametres

    I newer ee these codes but bai explainaishion of these I will loking for more liwe data

    Compresion in cilindres? Exaust gloget and ani more
    If here oil timing reguliator? Maybe gloget and alots more

    I would scope all WSS, monitor engine RPM, transmission range switch, and calculated vehicle speed. The ECU must be thinking engine is in overspeed or possibly a WSS is faulting causing rediculous speed reading like doing a burnout on the spot. Not sure if speed is on the CAN bus like BF or maybe check VSS- scope it look for noise or irregular signal
