ftp to your duo got to "/etc/opkg/"....then edit the "opkg.cong" file and add the line below
"arch mipsel 100"
now you can install any .ipk file...
This will make the trunk opkg also accept packages made for "mipsel".
Thanks will try that, regarding the IPK files - (MG**** & CC**** ) it didnt make any difference which ones I tried they all had the same unknown package error . these were IPK files i had used previously on a much older BH image so I know the files are ok.
As it was getting late in the evening and didnt want to risk the family kicking off in the morning when Disney etc wasnt working - so I loaded VIX image. seems ok in terms of image - havent decided which I prefer yet - will let you know.
thanks again much appreciated.
cam packs for the blk hole images are not IPK format
they are TGZ format and if you look at post 2 in this
thread you will find cccam packs with loading info for
the black hole that load on all blk hole image versions

original vu duo2 /vu zero/ tm-nano-se. v-box / 36v /1.2 dish,
thanks Benny, still playing with the VIZ image so have had a chance to go back and test the BH one. just to confirm I was using TGZ format file - mistakenly reffered to them as IPK as thats the button used on VUCC app to load them onto the box.
Will test again on BH this weekend and report back.
If our using Blackhole dont use Vucc to install them, use VuCC just for the FTP side and place both .tgz files in your /tmp folder then use green and yellow button and install
