    Default VECTRA C 2.2 DTI PUMP REPLACEMENT IMMO OFF

    Can anyone tell me what is the best way round either removing the immo off a replacement engine that has been fitted to a Vauxhall vectra c 2004 or can I reprogram the immo to the replacement engine & pump
    The car is not in my workshop as of yet & I may not want to see it !!
    Can I read the codes ie by using opcom & doing a bit of the DK treatment or do I reprogram the keys & the rest of the car to the ecu on the pump
    (Have been told ECU is the type fitted to the Injection pump as have not seen the car yet)
    So its not a case of take it out & open it on the bench & play with the X-programmer !

    Open to suggestions ! Bo-Peep has already been mentioned !!

    Can the unit be read in situ on the car then with car prog ?

    there are 2 types of pump, one is psg pump with engine control unit attached, other is a bosch pump which also has an ecu on it, but it is not the engine control unit - tell us year of car.
    psg can be done via obd, the other older type no need for programming as long as the part numbers match.

    vectra C is with new pump PSG16, carprog can read it vian CAN or K-line, if not read via CAN, must connect directly to pump with K-line and read pin, then reset with op-com, for connecting directy you will need connector from astra or zafira that uses K-line, just need to connect power, gnd and K-line, then you will be able to read it...
