I paid around US$ 318 including installation and update, that was a while back. But i have the feeling that i have got a clone from my SAT guy, he said it was original (German).

Think if you go on the Dreambox website it will tell you but like Southpaw said if its cheap its a clone, Andy. https://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/en/authenticity-test

Tried to find out if it is a clone but no idea how to get the verification code, my machine won't start properly and i can't get in. I got "RO1 CA NOT FOUND" message that i'm trying to fix.
I miss watching TV
