Default Streaming from PC to Enigma 2 Box or TV

Hi. I have a Optibox Evo E3HD with Enigma2 running on it. I am not sure if this is possible or not. But is there any way I can stream what I have on my PC (i.e. say a movie) onto my Enigma2 box so that I can watch it on TV? I use wifi to connect to the internet (on box and on pc). If so, what addons would I need or how do I go about doing it? Any help appreciated. Thank you

you would be better to send it to the box if it has a hard drive in it
    thats what i did
\\192.168.*.* just fill in the rest of ur box ip into search at your windows start button
or put the movie on a flash drive or external hdd and plug it in to usb

on a vu you mount the pc or nas using a section in the systems menu under the blue button, which then lets you access shared folders on those devices

no idea on an optibox but works ok on my duo in BH which is also E2

Thank you for the replies. I'll check my box to see if i can do that. What I am trying to do is the following: I have XBMC on my PC and its very good for things like catch up tv etc. I have used the TS Media app and the XBMC app on my satellite box but I do not find it as good as the PC app. I was thinking of accessing the XBMC app somehow through my box - so that whatever I am watching can be streamed directly to my box. The XBMC app on my pc has its own IP address and there are settings for a webserver - I am assuming that sshomehow if i can copy my settings into the box then I will be able to access the XBMC app as a server? If that makes sense. Im a bit new to alll this so Im just playing around. If anyone knows what I mean or know how to do this as well, then please feel free to reply - even if it is to say that it cannot be done

I got plex server on my pc and got the plex addon in vix kinda working on my ibox 2, it wont play some files with DTS audio and even more so if the said files are in 1080 rather than 720 but it does work most

having played around with plex bit more got it working with 85% of films

Make sure your server is setup with transcorder setup to offer faster transcoding, also when you setup your sever settings on the box itself make sure you set it up for faster settings I got my Ibox 2 on 720 3mps. Also n the pc in the advanced turn on down-mixing down the audio.

If you using vix for some reason the plug in menu used the old version of dreamplex download and make sure you got the newest version. (1.09 I think)

    Hope this helps
