    Default i cant flash my dreambox 600pvr

    i have problem i cant flash my dreambox with dreamup i try to connect with dreamup but nothing any help?

    You need to make sure you have the latest Dreamup program and you are using a null modem cable and not a serial cable.
    You can also flash your dm600 using telent.

    In the telnet window, type the following, pressing <return> at the end of each line.

    mount /boot -o remount,rw
    rm /boot/*
    reboot

    You should now get a message saying that the Dreambox is rebooting.

    Wait a few seconds and then run Explorer (Firefox or whatever) and enter the ip address of the Dreambox in the address bar.

    On the screen that appears, choose the 'Upgrade firmware' option, find the .nfi file and click the 'Flash' button.

    Once the progress bar reaches 100%, reboot the box

    If you are using Dream Up, use only the serial cable connected to the Dream, then when asked to call the Dream plug the power cord!

    Hi Arben
    followed up your instructions but box Never rebooted! Ip connection gone. Box stuck on green light. Using dreamup to upload sofware right now. Hope it works.
    Don't know what happened.
