Default Moto G with no charger, can I use my old charger?

Just purchased a Moto G which doesn't come with a mains charger just a USB lead is included. My old phone had a similar set up using a mains plug type charger with a USB socket.
Do these mains plugs with the built in USB socket have the same output and can be used on any phone?

All new phones run on the same battery technology. As such they will all accept a 5v USB charge, you just need to check that the lead has the right connector for your phone.
Since everyone except Apple have adopted the Micro USB port, all chargers are the same.

The only difference between chargers now is with the ampage. It makes no difference no matter what phone you have, only in the time it takes to charge. A low Ampage charger will take longer to charge your phone.
