Opel/Vauxhall speed limiter removal

Hi,

Is is possible to edit the ecu file to remove the speed limiter on Vauxhall/Opel diesel engine ECU?

I have customers with Combo and Astra vans but I don't use Tech2, just original VauxCom and AVDI with no speed limiter options.

What years are they ex German gas cabs or post irrfice ir something

Ex-Southern Gas or BT usually,


Vauxhall Combo 1.3 CDTi Marelli seem to be the most common.

Just have a tweet and squint at the gas pedal. Sometimes there's a plug in box to the gas oedal

No Siemens box add on's, they are definitely restricted in the engine flash.


Usually 50/50 hardware or software with most vans we see depending on who did the limiter.

Plan B it is:


Start collecting flash files from un-restricted vans and write down the part numbers.


Surprised it isn't an option with AVDI though.

I did a astra van the other day with the stupid box joined into the pedal. It was also joined to the back of the light switch. Just behind the light switch there was a fuse. Just removing that fuse is enough to disable it.

It confused me for a few minutes as there was not the normal dpf + speedlimiter options in my tech2 when I went to reflash it.


AVDI runs tech2win + SPS so you can reflash if you need to.

Or swap ecus over on the one fir the brakes, when he comes back next week, limited speed, tell him ecu screwed ?200 to fix, swap with one off ebay/ his orginal flash abs awY. (iShit Failiure) hate it
