I'm trying to power up the ECU with this:

    Earth pins 16 and 47
    +12v direct 1, 3, 17, 32
    Ignition +12v 29 and 38

    Is it right?

Hi, Where is the VIN stored inside the ATE ABS module on a BMW E46 part number 6759075? Would it be stored inside the ST circuit 95042U3? or inside the big ICs/MCU?
I wanted to buy a used module, but will get stuck with the VIN difference. Is there a way to clone it or to transfeer the chip containing the VIN data from the damaged unit into a working unit, and which chip stored this VIN data?

    Regards.

WINKFP (Inpa tools) can made it for you.
    Tool32 also can.

Simply mount in car and recode with new Vin.

Only ever solved this by replacing ABS unit on the ones I have had problems with.

Had one Volvo v70 from 2004 , strange things on the dash board, no speed, no cruise control, "abs fault stop engine", internal module fault. Under microscope moving Ate chips legs, found 3 dry joints. Just resoldered all chips legs and no more faults.
