    Default need help with 08 audi R8

    I bricked the 2008 audi r8 dashboard with digiprog .car blong to my friend and I was bit hesitant to do it with this tool.it read the km ok when I put the new value dash go dead.tool ask to turn the key off and then on it ddi few times,i scan the car all other module in the car setting code for instrument not comuncation and with scanner I cannot comunicate with dashboard.if I hook the digi it reads the dash as 0km.i did not try to put any value.i did disonect the battery for 5 min.
    car no start.what eprom or chip it got.can it be repaired thru avdi or carprog?has somebody have dash removal instruction too.

    Try to perf flash repair with digiprog.
    Its a common failure on this dashes, if this not work you can try someone with Enigma,DP3, MDC.
    In the worst case you must remove dash and repair flash in micronas CPU.
    I never tried but xprog claims to R/W micronas.

    But first try to repair it with flash repair through diag.

    should I write back with digiprog and try as it shows only 0km.avdi will work on this dashto repair dump?

    write new valeu again with digiprog

    Your dash is totally dead right Or does it show you 0.

    If its totally dead perf flash repair from your digi.

    it shows nothing .how can I do flash repair?can I do it on bench?what mcu/chip it has? thanks

    thanks vageric,as you suggested I write back with digiprog and dash come back to life.i did not understand the logic.no scan tool will comuncate with dash but digi only.i left the battery disconnected overnight and this moring same thing dead. but when I write the km back again instrument lights come back on everything worked it should be.i thanks all you guys who tried to help me by giving me there input.great input.thanks.
    this is first vag car did to me never happened befor .

    It is very common problem on A3 and R8 2007-2010.
    SMOK X-dash has repair for it

    Try few times with digiprog and you will sucess,I had same problem with A3 09year...
