dacia logan (and Clio 2) petrol use L line for wake-up. Galltetto original have this . Also Byteshooter have the L line (via K - you conect L with K and work with SIRIUS32 and SIEMENS EMS3132 .
good to know this
I HAVE CABLE AND I NEED GALLETTO SOFTWAR . PLEASE
Hi guys
I just got a hold of a Galletto 1260 clone and when i connected the usb cable to my Windows XP SP3 laptop, windows automatically installed the drivers. What procedure do i follow to install the drivers on the CD that came with the Galletto?
In device manager, the galletto shows up as USB serial port Com 10 when i connect the cable to my laptop. I select that and try to update it and locate the folder with the drivers but it says that the wizard could not find a better match for the software.
Also, does the Galletto need to be set to a specific COM port and/or does the com port require any specific settings?
What should be done?
Regards,
Mark

thank you galletto 1260 picture
just uninstal your current driver and nstall manually from the cd. galletto doesn't care about port number.
Solution for Renault cars :
Yes, you must save your ECU dump with DDT2000, and then you can do anything you want, write tuned maps, anytime you can write back your original map previously saved.
Of course you need a DDT2000 which can Unlock ECU, and this is VERY HARD to find, my friend.
I went into device manager, selected the item and deleted it. I went ahead and reinstalled and selected update drivers, but i get the same message saying the wizard could not find a better match. Thus, maybe this will work as is. I will need to see if the galletto reads as configured. I saw on another website, that they connect the Galletto to the vehicle, then to the laptop computer and then windows asks for the drivers. Should it be done like that or would installing it as i did initially (without connecting the Galletto to the vehicle) would render the same installation results?
I just want to be on the really safe side as i want to avoid frying the engine computer.

Mark
With galetto you can`t be 100% sure of that.
Think about, it`s a 15 euro tool, made in china probably, and anything can go wrong, reading, ( especially ) writing ecu, a lot of guys burnt their hands with that tool.
Reading this topic must rise for you lots of question marks. But finally it is your car and it`s up to you to decide.
You can`t fry the ecu, but a bad written map wouldn`t make the engine start.
I am 100% against using such tools .

What you indicate is very true and i have done lots of reading and heard many things good/bad happening with the use of these clone tools. I am just looking for the precise information on doing the installation correctly and working from there. Lets see what happens.
Thanks for your reply and Happy New Years!

Mark
