Default help reading HC11F1 (E87J) with clone carprog v.7.28

hello everybody please help me read mcu hc11f1 mask E87J existed on opel gm multec (plug purple)
    i use a brand new clone carprog v.7.28 adapter A10 .
i used external 12v power supply and disconnected the reset terminal i used 12000k for frequency and tried many frequencies but the carprog kept trying to read with no success
    ( reading attempt 1...2....3....4...5 ) .
    am i missing something ?
is there anyway to read it with carprog .
is there any terminals that i have to pull up beside the reset ?
    thank you all .

i tried what you said " Pin 1 2 3 together gnd still the same , couldn't read.
the connection is as mentioned in the carprog manual.
the brown cable to vss (pin 1 )
the orange mod/b stdby (pin 2)
    blue to reset ( pin 17 )
    green rx to ( pin 28 )
    Yellow tx to ( pin 29 )
    red VDD to ( pin 34 )
i tried many times with different frequencies .
i also checked the connections with multimeter for proper conductivity .
best regards and thanks for your help .

After sone hours of disperation I've managed to read/write the MC68HC11F1 inside a IAW 16FM.E6 using carprog. Taught I'd share the solution.

Use the scheme in the carprog manual to connect to the chip and short pins 2/3 MODA/MODB.

Give power to ECU 12V+ PIN 26,35
    GND PIN 17,34

    That worked fine for me!!!

    Regards!!!

    Dear Stefyhgs,

I am currently trying to read and write the same ECU (Marelli IAW 16FM.E6 from Fiat 600 1.1) and can't get Carprog to read it.
I have connected a spare voltage supply to the ECU pins you provide and have shorted pins 2 & 3 (MODB&A) to ground.
From Carprog, GROUND, TXD, RXD, 5V and RESET pin are connected as described. I didn't connect Orange (MODB) as it is connected to ground already.
    There is no communication.

I have checked TxD and RxD with an oscilloscope, on RxD (Green) there is PWM activity once I am trying to connect but not on TxD (yellow), only voltage supply. I have set the parameters to read differently (Oscilator to 4000/8000/16000 and Auto) there is no communication.

Maybe the procedure is wrong? Should I remove voltage supply from the ECU main plug after each attempt?
Hope you can shed some light on this. Already bought a second ECU as I thought the first was faulty.

I have both Clone and Original Carprog.

    Best regards,
    S54B32
