Default Streaming from one enigma 2 STB to another enigma 2 STB ???

    Hi, people
Ok, How if possible, do I view/stream files [movies recorded on HDD] from STB no 1, to STB no 2 in another room. The images in question are STB no 1= Openvix and STB no 2= Openpli. STB no 2 has no internal HDD
This question has probably been answered many moons ago, however after searching around I could not find the relevent information.
    Your help is appreciated,
    Thanks

To stream the channels from one box to another, best running PLI or OpenATV on both boxes, go into the plugin download server and install (remotestreamconvert).
Once installed you will find it in....menu/setup/service searching, open it add the ip of the second box and hit OK then tick the bouquets you want and then download.

To access the HDD....menu/setup/system/network/network browser, you should now find box 2...you can then mount the HDD.
It can be a little hit and miss.

if you had vix on each, from menu-system-network--nfs setup set up on both boxes and mount them ,i can view my duo recordings on my solo and play them on tv.i did use samba but not worked for a long while and was told to replace it with nfs.

    Thanks, guys
All I'm after is trying to view movies from a vu solo2 HDD on DM800se. Not to worried about viewing the spare tuner on another box etc[for know].
I'll try it later as its peak time now, and there is no chance of getting hold of the remote.

Yeah, Done that many times.....They thought it was time to call in an excorcist

OK, I messed around with NFS setup[before this I could not see the vu solo2 in network browser] Finally I managed to see the solo2 on my dm800se network browser.
I tried mounting using both NFS/CIFS , CIFS seemed to mount as everything was green. However I tried to view files in media player on openpli, but I could not find media hdd. Media usb was visible but not media hdd.
So I mounted root/everything , but the result was the same as everything was visible in mediaplayer in openpli except media/hdd.
Where am I going wrong? Could show/tell me a good setup, is it NFS/CIFS etc.

HAHA, dont know what the !"%&(&%!? just happened but when i view everything through dcc media/hdd has dissappeared, oh well you live and learn.
A quick reflash has brought all the movies back
