    Default Martech box 3

Guys Who did interchange the good old martech device for box 3.
I dont know if i should interchange, i use it only on old radio's.
But if i need some update in the future it wont be possible with the old martech.

It might be interesting if its good on eep R/W.
I did not like that one the old unit (putting resistors between adapter and eep).

    Your opinion pls.

    Wbr Adam.

I agree with you but, for owners of the old unit they dont have a choice i quess, as they give you till april to interchange your unit for new one (this will cost you 300 or 350 euro) as i remember right.

that is not interesting for me, but there is not much choice i quess, so i hoped it to be a good eep programmer now, so i can also use it for other purposes or for reading radios in cirquit without having that damn resistors there.

Same dilema for me, we dont get something more with new Martech, only option to give them more and more and more money for nothing. Support is terrible from them, very disappointed.

as a newbie I nearly bought a clip on fleabay instead went for box111.
i have 7 activations including security,2580 and aisn.
I cannot compare to clip but might be able to answer some of your questions cheers
I am very happy with the product but agree that more can be done regarding support
    thanks

Did you test it on eep programming, if you did how good is it.
Do you still have to add resistors to read eep.
And did you test it in 35080 eeps.

And did you test it in 35080 eeps.
Better in this case use a new eeprom 35080

Programmer in BOX3 is very fast, they add configuration options for reading in circuit, finally.

I had clip but BOX3 is different story.

I'm using Martech tools from long time and I must say that this tool do the job

I've upgraded from clip to box 3 about 8 months ago, eeprom progger works well I still take out of circuit, m35080 eraser is excellent and no more resistors all done internally and connections via 25way d, worth upgrading

Nice tool, but not like subscriptions metod to pay year by year !

I made also my adapter for him for can use the same clip soic8 form pin headers when I want to read in circuit if is possible depend of the case or outside for 24CXX, 25/95XXX, 93CXXX, Flash eeprom, I add also dip8 socket and pinout form DB25 connector for can use when need, I add also IR led for Kenwood units.

I add also some photos to see how it looks.
