Default Lishi Renault - does it work on Laguna/Megane 3?

    Hello,

I got Megane 2009 lost card and locked. I don't have 'Laguna 3' Lishi, I have only for older Renault, but I think it will open the lock but not decode. Am I right or wrong? Fast answers very appreciated!

Is it megan or laguna? you cant use laguna 2 in 1 ,in megan lock!, if its megan, the key way from 2003-2010 are same, i have used 2in in 1 in megan 2007 to open the car, but didnt decode since the owner had the code inside the car. It took me ages to open the door, till i increased alot of tension, and it opened in no time.
btw - this car was dead locked!

Megane 2009, black card 4 buttom. I just came back from car without success in opening it, as the lock turns but the door won't open. Seems like a clutch working on. The lock turns 180 degree. I will get key code.

I'm sure I saw here on DK that somebody wrote that it's possible to open laguna3/megane3 with lishi for old card system and that's why I didn't buy new lishi tool specially for Laguna 3 but after today I can't say it's true.

Can you do a favor for me? Please measure both blades and tell me if they are the same. I will have key code tomorrow but I don't have the new shaped blade so I want to try cut on old one.

Ah, so this is that series 1234567HQ? I see when I put in viper '723832' it found that series. Also I managed to run 2010 instacode and I see the same. Thanks. Will report later if it worked.

One more question: Do I have to reverse those cuts when putting into machine or it will work straight? I'm asking cause I have 50km to the car and want to be sure today I will do the job .

Dealer code often has 8 digits. Take the first 6 digits and reverse to get the bitting. e.g. Dealer code 34213463 = bitting 431243

I got straight cuts from dealer, no need to reverse. BUT! The lock was spinning 360 degrees with a key O_o. I opened the car using wire and coded new card...

Lock spinning 360 degrees is the protection mechanism, when wrong key is inserted.

I had 2 keys. One cut as the dealer code and 1 as reverse of that code. The wrong key doesn't turn at all.
