    Default BMW E53 (X5) 2003 Battery Safety Terminal bypass

    I am trying to bypass resistance of BTS on E53 without success with resistance 2.2 ohm .
    There is still error
    MRS : Battery ,positive terminal isolation 1
    Does any of you did it and what resistace value did you use for it .

    I already try with 2.2 ohm it didnt worked , I will try tomorrow with 3.3 ohm or even with 2A glass fuse.

    Try 1 ohm..you know, if u have a good scanner you can just read the value the car is detecting. if 1 ohm dont work then use 2.2 and cut the freaking plug right off..and if that don't work then light car on fire and push it off a bridge..problem solve!

    Tomorrow I will get same E53 and measure exact value .

    I usually use 2.7 ohm and it always works. However the fault that you pick up sounds like what i had with an old bmw.
    It kept giving me the same fault as you getting no matter what i did. I even tried to trace the wires up to module's plug and tried to put resistor there.
    It did not work either. So i believe with a slight chance there might be something wrong with the module itself. Maybe that fault is recorded on it somehow.

    Hi.if you have pasoft 1.4 simply disable it.

    Use 2.2 but cut the wires.

    yes you need to cut wires.i use allways 2.2

    Best way would be to use ncsexpert to code it out of the airbag module. SBK is what it will be called
