There's already been photos shown of the smaller tablet device shown online. Who knows how they're planning to monetise it though.

It has been demonstrated on the "518 Chinese Locksmith Annual Meeting". There is a video in the Xhorse Global channel with some sights of the device.
Apparently it is called Key Tool MIDI (could be HIDI but I doubt it).
There's also a handful of other new devices. It seems we are finally going to see the XC-003 domestic secret key cutting machine and also a new Condor called XC-TWINS with double cutters and one sensing probe.

But to me the only question about the MLB tool is - when will we see the mentioned MLB Xhorse replacement keys which will not require points for generation?

I see they are taking Pre-order for MLB tool.
They are charging you $200 USD as a deposit and then when they work out how much they are going to sell the tool for, they will charge you the extra.

Can anyone confirm if MQB49/5C IMMO DATA decoding or KM changing works on Xhorse Key Tool Plus? Because it looks like MQB49/5C still does not work with VVDI2. Read the cluster with Multi Prog without problem but when decrypting the Immo Data it finishes the procedure but there is NO IMMO DATA and when writing different mileage it throws out error "Errcode: 5000 - Calculate failed (error code: 10104), please collect and retry 2/2"

Are special Xhorse keys available?

There are no keys available that I have seen and the tool comes with an early version of the software that uses English.
When you upgrade the software, it tells you that it has been region locked to China and you can only select Chinese language.
Apparently they are working on the fix for this but I am dubious.

X-horse have a history of releasing tools with both English and Chinese languages and then later changing the rules to making the tool Chinese only.
Been burnt with the original VVDI key tool a few years back.

They have released many updates to the MLB tool but only in Chinese.
I have used it to read a few different test keys and it appears to work well.
The generated data is accepted by VVDI tablet when you go into MLB programming.

So the tool does look like it works but there are no keys to use it with so far.
The KYDZ MLB tool has recently come down in price and has a wide range of available keys for it so at the moment it looks like the only viable option unfortunately.

That's the Xhorse way... I guess I will wait for now. Also a lot of pages were selling it as presale or with reservation cost around 200EUR and at the moment all the presale or reservation cost titles has been removed. It looks like it will not cost around 500 as final product but 200. That's it. Correct me if I am wrong.
