VVDI MB BGA TOOL

2004 W209K - neither MB Tool or Autel can add key via OBD. Autel at least reads EIS information via OBD, XHorse can't even read EIS information. Neither of them can read password via IR either. XHorse only read EIS information via IR once, then can't do it. Weird. Original key works normally, no errors.

This one sometimes OBD, most of the time bench. Can be done for sure (did several)

Made a key the other day.
Did not manage, to get the Keyless function working.

Is there any tip to fix this.
I was not aware of, that it is supposed to have the battery out of the key.
While writing key.
So I placed a battery, before writing the key.

I know on BMW Keyless Cas3.
Only 2 keys, is acepted as KeylessGo key.
If you have lost one.
And need, to add another Keyless.
You have to disable, the other lost key.

At the same time you can always add standard remote key.
Without disable.
This key will not, act as a KeylessGo key.
Even if it is a such key.

Could it be that Mercedes, has the same options?
Only 2 keys accepted as KeylessGo keys?

I had problems with Xhorse MB Smart keys too recently.

Last 3 Smart MB keys I made had issues working properly, cars would not recognize them - light up red warning on dashboards, sometimes they don't run engine at all.

They were purchased from different dealers.

Have anyone come across with this problem?

On VVD MB click other functions , then Update MB Smart key

Hi, I have problem to renew W202 Eis
VVDI MB tool read EIS fine I get erase pass and Key password without any problem
But with all Pass inserted if I tic Renew EIS VVDI MB tool will count up to 60%
after that get "failed"
and dont get any way arround...

Can anyone help please?

ignition lock for this one is A2469050902 which is FBS4 - could not see FBS version in chassis returned info

If it keeps failing, restart and try again (you have good power etc?) I normally just switch to another tool like Abrites - all of the MB supporting tools fail at times. The older versions of EIS like for W210, W208 etc are tricky at occasions
