Hi

Got Astra j with new SDM module which has been configured wrong , so comming up with lots of faults like seat position sensors which the car doesnt have

Replaced SDM (AIRBAG) with a USED one with same part number 13574896DA
Got fault code B1001: Option Configuration
Sympton Description:Malfunction
Status: Present


Thought this was to do with programming Vin & Security Code, Which i have done in the new SDM
Still getting same fault code, any ideas ?
Is this a primary key data in BCM? How to programme this in BCM to say SDM replaced ? BCM compares the SDM ID (last 4 digits of part no) to restraint id ? Is this fault to do with sdm id not matching to id in BCM ? How to change in BCM ? BCMprogramming/RPO configuration in BCM, procedure ? Anything in diagnostics Customer Request/Query !

Appreciate if somebody clarify what i need to do to fix B1001 fault code
