    Default Mini cooper VIN swap

Hi all. I have a mini cooper 2007 r56. And in past car had replaced all the electric modules from a cabrio mini to mine non cabrio. Car starts and run fiine but the problem is on the main cluster i have airbag light on, and the rev counter cluster is not showing the revs and on the digital screen have the sign for cabrio roof open but car is not cabrio. What can i change to get this car working proplly. Thanks in advance.

first thing is to change VIN on the cluster to match your chassis VIN and the old milleage, to do it it's needed to use an eeprom programmer.
Once that is done you can code the cluster to default values using NcsExpert which will code it based on VO of your car and everything will work fine.

Vin is matching all the modules like ecu. Abs. Cas.airbag. this are the faults. uploadfromtaptalk1452606426842.jpg

question, was the CAS replaced as well?
if not then in NcsExpert load either Expertmode or FisterProfile then F1 -> F3 -> select R56 -> CAS -> F6 Back -> F4 Process Ecu -> select first ecu -> F4 Read Ecu -> Select F2 “Job” select SG_CODIEREN and press ok -> F3 to execute the job. Will gray out for some time.. now you will see the “coding ended’ message

select ''F1 Change Ecu'' to select next Ecu from the list and repeat the sequence to code each individual Ecu as described above

if the car is made before march 2007 you can modify a simple VAG COM KKL to be able to code the car using NcsExpert, if it's made in march or after that then you will need an Inpa KDCAN cable... forget about virginizing as all you need is coding
