This won't work with Western.Europe.v8.40.2562
Thanks very much
Hi, firstly thank you for posting the camera files. I have plenty of space on my TomTom Go 710 and copied all of the files over as I work all over Europe, is this an issue in any way i.e. will any files conflict each other?
I haven't yet been out in the car to check if it's working at the nearest camera but they are showing up in my POI allerts, does this mean they are installed ok?
Also the problem I had was that the map I downloaded and installed had no camersa on it at all so are these files updates only or is this every camera installed up til now?
Sorry for the long winded post.
Regards,
Paul.
These are the full ones.
All you gotta do is unzip the folder then choose which country ones you want ie for uk just copy the uk ov file and the uk ver file into your tomtom map folder.Thats it. the images are part of the ov file.

Thank you, appreciated.
Hey Cleggy the link to get easytools leads to a blank page, any other route you know of
hi mate have you got a link to latest maps and speed camers
Yeah I'd also like a working link, it's broken unfortunately!
Hi,
Thanks for all your work with this, i for one really appreciate it!
I do however have an issue. I have followed all the instrcutions, and everything seems to have worked. My new maps do, but how can I actually check that the speed camera database has updated successfully on my TomTom. Is there a date/version no. or something like that on the device that I can check?
sorry everyone for not replying before as i have been away,
however tomorrow i will post the very latest version of cameras and a new link for easytools.as well as a link to the very latest maps

Beefy
You can check the version by looking at the ver file
it should be higher than the previous ver file

OK I'm being dense, I've got TomTom Navigator 6 for a Palm.
On the SD cards I see the .ov2 and ov2.ver and .bmp files for with names like:
Safety_Cam_UK_30_TomTom.ov2, Ov2.ver and .bmp
Repeat for 40, 50, 60 and 70 mph.
all names that I currently have.
The file I just downloaded has no .bmp files and also has e.g.
Safety_Cam_UK_TomTom.ov2 and Ov2.ver
Safety_Cam_UK_Premium.ov2 and Ov2.ver
Should I delete all the .ov2 and Ov2.ver files on the SD card and just copy all the files from the download into the map directory, or do I need to do things differently?
There is no .dct file as far as I can tell.
Thanks
Dave
delete speed cams on sd card.
Then choose uk speed cams or uk speed cams premium.copy them to sd card and put them in map folder.so in map folder you have a ov and a ver file.then use easytools or the other in my post (i think is easiest).
once u have used the tool you should also have a speedcam file called dct.job done.and you dont need to do anymore in future other than download the lastest cams then copy them onto sd card it will just replace the ones already there.no need to create a dct file again
as a note the uk cams are just all fixed cameras, the uk premium cameras also contain the mobile cameras
