Default Corsa D 1.3 CDTI possible turbo problem

    Hi Guys
Hoping someone can help, The car hits about 3000 rpm and the engine management light flashes on and off quickly and the car will no longer go above 3000 rpm until i turn it off and restart.
Just before the engine light comes on the car does pull away , but just for a second.
I have checked the wastegate actuator and i dont see it move at all , i tuned engine off and had a friend turn it on and rev to 4000 rpm ,
The wastegate actuator doesnt move. I tried moving it with a screwdriver with the engine off and it seems to not budge at all.
Before stripping out the Turbo it would be great if someone could suggest anything else

    Much appreciated
    Bulld

Yes you need to get it code read instead of guessing. If the light was on there should be a code.
you need to study live data whilst it faulters.
Live data will tell you quickly if it is overboosting.

Make sure the acuator arm isn't sticking. Or use GFF on Tis.

    Cheers MJRVR
Corsa running perfectly now , It was a stuck actuator
It must have been pretty bunged up inside it took a lot of force to free it up but i managed to do it without removing.
It will probably need removal and cleaning in the future , for now its repaired
