Hi everybody , firstly id like to thank all the Dk members for their help and understanding with us newbies

secondly if anyone could help me identify the chip that holds immo data on this kia immo box there is a 8pin eeprom which is 42694g and the other one is a TMS3705ag4 on the immobilizer control unit board which one should i read for immo? and if so what chip type should i select with UPA?

Thanks so much for your help in advance

    Hi,

42694g is not an EEPROM. It?s a voltage regulator.
The other chip: TMS3705ag4 is only a transponder interface (responsible for driving antena, transmit and receive data).
There is another chip that is the microcontroller and i guess that this chip have an EEPROM inside that holds ONLY the pincode (a 6 digits number necessary to do some tasks: register new keys, neutralize ECU, etc) information.
I guess that this pincode information is cryptographed!!
This immo box don?t holds the keys information (only the pincode).
Keys information is cryptographed and stored inside ECU (Kefico/Bosch).
I dont know exatcly what u wanna do, but the first thing u have to look for is the VIN number.
Having VIN number, u can take the pincode.
Then, with pincode in hands u can do the other tasks: register new keys, neutralize ECU, etc..
    I hope it helps u.
    Thanks.
