    Default Pop up hood activated Lexus IS 300 2014

    Hello
    I have error messege onboard - POP UP HOOD ACTIVATED
    In SRS module - clear
    Where is Pedestrian protection module in this car?
    Can someone clear after crash?

    Hi

    I also have same issue on a 15 plate is300h, srs system is clear when using techstream. Once you disconnect pop up hood errors come up in srs system. There has been talk of clearing the crash in airbag ecu, before i try would like some confirmation and this problem.

    Monday I get this car and check srs unit. If trouble codes came to SRS unit I suppose that is problem with crash.

    i have the car here just dreading pulling it all apart, lifting cpu, fitting it only to find its the same error. hoping to start on it tomorrow once i make space for it in garage.

    I managed to strip mine and pull off the renasas processor so far.....

    depends where the issue is

    post up faults!!

    and if there is no DTC thats a sign of crash ie pop up hood disabled displayed on the dash

    Thanks for your reply had a minor accident with a pole have replaced all parts now including 2 bonnet poppers but still getting the message POP UP HOOD ACTIVATED. No codes on techstream anymore.
