    Default HITAG 2 : Tango/TMPro Advanced Users.

Any advanced user here that care to explain about this module please..

What is it? What can i do with it?

I've came across 2 different remote keys in which i couldn't read the data inside with Tango as it requires payable option to do that. 1 remote key belongs to Honda CRV 2010 which Tango detected as PCF7961A and the other one belongs to Suzuki Ertiga 2013 which Tango detected as PCF7961AT,if i'm not mistaken. But that's it and the detail of both remotes can't be read as i haven't loaded in Hitag2 into my Tango.

What benefit will i get by loading in Hitag2 into Tango aside from just read the unreadable data from these remotes? Suzuki Ertiga is quite a popular vehicle in my country and a fellow sometimes ago told me that neither X100 or SKP could perform 'key adding' to this vehicle, let alone if all key lost.

Is it possible to write the data inside PCF7961A/PCF7961AT onto blank PCF7936 and then start the car with this soft? Or probably modify the data so it can be programmed diagnostically with those programmers i mentioned above?

I've browsed Tango forum in order to understand it but the best i could found there was nothing but a document about Hitag classification.. and the administrator there also seems reluctant answering questions in regard to this subject (at least that's the impression i got after reading a bunch of topics about this soft Hitag2)

Any experts here mind to shed some light or perhaps if it's not too much share a link in which i could read materials about it please?

Any helps is highly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

    Best regards.

    Best regards.

Hello sir.. thanks for your input.

Now that you said "it is very useful",could you please elaborate it a bit please..useful like what? in what ways? If we take a those remotes i mentioned, let say PCF7961AT in which neither SKP or X100 can perform key programming, what could i do with this soft?

Can you give me a hint from where should i start to understand this sir? I don't have too much jobs here..so instead of doing nothing i think it would be better for me digging and understanding how 'eeprom work' really is and to understand Tango to it's full potency.

Thanks for any helps in advanced sir.

    Best regards.

I dont get why they just didn't add the hitag option to the base model when they added bmw etc after tm100 came out... hitag crypto may have been a big deal years ago but with zedbull clone for 50 dollars pretty crazy to charge 200 euro for it.

Profit and research cost Paul,i guess.

As for me,i just can't understand as to why the team there does not provide sufficient info in regards to their product. I haven't asked it yet tho,but the impression i got after browsed bunch of topics there, led me to a conclusion that somehow they are reluctant answering this question. Idk,may be they fed up hearing the same repetitive questions. understandable if info provided is enough..but it is not.
