Could someone help me out please?

Did i get the wrong file from DME ( downloaded the bin file with BMW Scanner 1.4.0 file size = 512kb)

I have tried to get 29F400 in boot mode by grounding pin 104 for 6sec when power is switched on.
When i did a read with galletto the file still was 32kb.

you choice "AUDI VW ME 7.x.x 29F400BB BOOT PIN 24 FLASH A MAS" to read the file in bootmode.
The file was 512Kb.

So if i understand correctly, i need to locate pin 24 on flash 29f400 and ground it foor 6 sec on power on.
Then select audi/vw file in gellatto to read flash? If i wan to write to the flash i must do the same?

Hi,

I tried to download the file with galletto, but when i gets @ 3% it stops an gives an error. (the voltage is 13.7V)
Could it be that the software doesn't erase the flash memory? (when i do a read i still have the ori file on it )

Did some research in the datasheet but couldn't find anything to erase the memory by grounding a pin or something.

Do i need another programmer to erase memory?

-MPPS
-GALLETTO
-k-DCAN
-ELM327
-KWP2000Plus
-Ordered AK-90 programmer
and a friend of mine has a programmer for the removeable ecu's in the earlier bosch dme's

use K-CAN and download JMGarageFlasher to read/write 512KB in bootmode.
