    Hello all

I am considering buying a hu101 turbo decoder

I am confused as to whom sells the "better" quality tool here lucky locks claim to be the original while prodecoder states the same.

Lucky locks website has no way to actually order online

    Prodecoder does and accepts PayPal

Has anybody any real experience with these company's?

As far as I know Lucky are the original. Did you try to order from their online store - https://www.autodecoders.com/ ?
But I doubt there's much difference in the quality because both companies started as one at the beginning.
Important thing is support is at very very high level with Lucky. That's my experience.

Sure, what you need to know? It works good but is quite sensitive and you need to be very careful when handling it because it can break easily when you're not careful. Also you need to know it can work only on original locks and its best to use it after you practice some time on the bench inside in the comfy chair before going on an actual job.

That is a lott of money, for a single tool.
How is the opening rate on these turbodecoders?
And do they need some calibration, after a sertain time of use?

I see that many struggle with the lishi decoders. Each lock is a bitt different.
Some need more, or less turning pressure, or a different pick order.
The feeling that you need to recognise, when the shim is underlocked, overlocked, loose or correct alligned.
The strenght you apply, on the lever. And learn how to give it the minimum amount of movement to the shim, so you not overlock.

You can detect dirt, rust, broken springs, bend shims, claugtgrease, better with the lishi. Not with the turbodecoder.
So poking and probing it first with a lishi may preserve the expensive turbodecoder,

Once you have picked it to the lock position, use a plug spinner to get it unlocked.

Picking the lock, in the closing direction, is sometimes easier then in the opening direction.
Once the shims are picked, a springloaded tool can turn the cilinder faster then the shim can move back in to there locking posistions. That is what Bmkeys means.

Decoding it in the locking position is a good option. And cut a key from that data.

Or start picking it again in the opening direction, with the known cut heights to guide your picking positions.

It's not that hard to spray some WD40 inside the lock and use the tester key to check if lock is in good working condition and to move the pins that no one ever used because they have a remote.
If you don't force it and "listen" to it while working you probably will never need to fix your turbo. This tool does not require calibration - it is not how it's made. Some pin may be defective and start to move freely, but they will usually change this under warranty.

Turbo can decode faster, but you need a lot of practice to learn to feel it. It is not some automatic senseless tool. Working with it is not much different than with lishi. But it can be faster and much easier to use. Much easier to decode the key positions too.

The best ever source for how to use Lishi is made by Martin Pink. Look at Tradelocks or 3D. When you read it all your questions will have their answers

    Could someone share this manual.

The Genuine Lishi Training Kit with DVD - New 2015 upgrade.

Every quality specialised tool should come with a proper manual.
That would give first time users some needed guidence.
Some give up on lishi tool after many bad results.
Some even bend, twist , and break them.

Happy skilled user, will but more lishi,s.
