Default Xprog win 7 64bit driver problem

    Hi guys,

Recently I am having trouble installing my original xprog driver on a win 7 64bit. Everything was working fine until recently. Tried 2 laptop and both cant be installed.

It is working fine on my win xp 32bit though.

I have tried window updates, registry cleaner but nothing seems to work. Hope someone here can help with this. Thank in advancs.

Maybe it's a FTDI clone chip and you need to install the older FTDI-Driver. It's a known problem with FTDI-Clone-Chips (and there are a lot of them). Google for "ftdi chip clone driver" and it maybe helps.

This problem is curious. I own genuine xprog and it works fine on my win7 64 bit. I have the same problem with genuine upa. I have to restart the system every time when i want to work with upa and press F8 to disable the driver sign..

    Go to device manager,
    check com port,
if xprog appear "yellow color" it mean "usb driver problem."

    uninstall driver,
    referesh device,
install again usb driver (old driver or new driver win7),
    done.
