Kess invalid protocol

Hey all so i recently purchased a kess v2 clone and seems to be working just fine alot of vehicles work, but i went to hook it up to my mazda yesterday and it came up with invalid protocol file so i went through the protocols and most work but i did come accross 2-3 just out of the maybe 50 insearched through that came up with this same message does anyone know why this happend if so how to rectify this problem. Thanks

Its your battery voltage mate 0v....
should be reading Higher, than 0v
must be a cable issue, not communicating as 0v

Haha its not plugged in bud when plugged into the car it reads 12.6 ish but still comes up with this exact screen

doesn't look like it's plugged to car as you say mate
but who ever he got kess clone from just copied instructions on updating the tool wrong .
this is exactly what i was on about on another thread
i would try new sdcard & do not copy over any sdcard files only use the update files run ksuite 2.08 maybe it will solve the problem

No it wasnt plugged in but does the same when plugged in. Where can i get a new sd car from? Update files :/ thanks

just buy new micro sd 2gb put it straight in the kess & search forum for the update folder that matches your serial look for ksuite v2.08 internet safe

Mate you need a working car with fuel in and a good working battery ! Then try, will work,,,


HAHA, PUlling your leg , mines always ok, and read this ecu before no issues, so prob sd card as GAZ . Others say,,,
