I found a damaged IC 9369.1D it has 14 pins and my one had the Motorola symbol as well as the word Ate 98. I have found and ordered a replacement from ebay and will report back when I repair it.

I'VE REPLACED WITH 9375.1B THET I FOUND IN OTHER MK60 ECU, NOT FOR MINI.
ECU WORK FINE
IN ATTACHMENT YOU SEE BROCKEN CHIP WITH THE REPLACED ONE.
I HOPE THET IT WILL HELP ALL DIGITAL KAOS MEMBER FOR REPAIR THIS FAULT

is the abs work now.
i have e46 with the same problem. i am reflow all the solders and its work for some days..now is dead again with 5df5 code.
how to test the ic?
the ic you use is from newer version unit? you thing is work and for me?

Hello.
I had the same problem in Mini R50 - Steuergeraet ASC - internal error 5df5.
Replacing the 9369 chip solved the problem.
