Default Great Wall Remote Key Programming

Anyone know how to program the remote key (remote functions only) for a 2011 Great Wall X240? The transponder is easy but the remote part seems to be top secret.
Tried the toyota procedure (because the key looks like a Toyota key) but i think its completely different. I know its a manual procedure but no idea how to do it, anyone tried this before? thanks for any help

Hi mate, I have never tried to do one before but found this info you can try the procedure and see if it works

    1. Open the Driver's front door and insert the key into the ignition
    2. Turn the ignition key from OFF to ON 5 times, finishing with it in the ON position.
    3. The indicators will now flash once to indicate programming mode is active
    4. Press either the lock or the unlock button on the remote control

    4. Wait 5 to 6 seconds.

    7. Indicator lights flash one time.

    8. Press the remote control button on each remote control key to be programmed, one after the other.

Where did you buy the replacement remote from?

I have been looking online and no one seems to sell replacement remotes for Great Wall cars.

    I have a 2012 Diesel Great Wall Ute V200.

    Thanks in advance

I've just bought " Alarm Transmitter and Blank key from LDV Lansvale for $110. You just pull the Transponder of your non remote key and transfer it into new Blank key with Transmitter and get the key cut than program it in the Ignition.
