Default 2003-2006 Chevy silverado / hummer 95020 EEPROM pin 1 location

I got in a big hurry and pulled chip from board to read it. I forgot o mark pin one. I am pretty sure where it goes but I want to double check prior to re installing it that I do not get it backwards. Also I had trouble getting it to read in my eeprom reader it is just a MINIPRO TL866. It would not read anything off of it

l20180124_150009.jpg To make matters wose I guess it is not even the EPROM that I lifted it is the chip that is located in U-15 and I guess it is not the EPROM with would answer my question on why it woudl not read. I am a total NOOB and trying to figure this out on my own without anyone to show me first hand. Like i said i am pretty sure that I know how it went on the board I just do not want ot re install it and have it be wrong.

Minipro may not work with that chip, S95P02.

U15 is the correct chip for that year, later on they moved it.

I had read where you had advised someone that they could purchase 25020 EEPROM and could program them and install on these clsuters. Is that true? they are pretty cheap. Is this the correct one? https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...C9pBoAH7i1c%3d

If not is there one that you recommend? I figure for .50 a piece I can program a lot of them to justify not purchasing a more expensive tool for all the more I use it.

Is there a cheap tool that you would recomend that I can write files that include DIC and Temp gague functions to these clusters as well as mileage? I did purchase a DIGIPROG3 off Ebay some months ago and it did not work
