    Default error 002

    new here
just modded my wii using the guide for dummies without zelda.
the process was much quicker than using the zelda hack.

thank you for the great guide

my only problem is that when i try to load the game wii fit plus that i burned i always get the error 002 and blue screen.
i have tried using wii scrubber and generic wii patcher but when i search for the eror 002 it says Search pattern for "Error 002" protection not found.

    any help appreciated
i have other burned games that work fine
    thanks

got same prob with mine, however i did not softmod my kids wii. someone else did it for me. i have read loads of different threads across the net and call me stupid but i cant get my head round it. i am not new to backup games etc, as i did used to chip ps1 and ps2's so have got a half decent amount of tech knowledge, but am stuck on the wii .
on my main start up screen, i have disc channel, mii channel, photo channel, wii fit channel, forecast channel, wii shop channel and news channel. since having it modded i now also have the homebrew channel, wii backup launcher gc backup launcher and iso dump.
i burn all my games using image burn with so far no issues untill i have just done wii fit plus for the missus.
so as i have no idea what exact software is on the wii, or how to add channels etc i am now stuck.
i am assuming that most new games will give this error so seriously need to sort the wii out as i am already getting grief off the missus and the kids will soon start if i cant get the latest games for them.
so i really need a dummys walkthru on sorting the wii out with the 002 error. please!!!!!!

what you need is the new neogamma loader which has a oo2 error fix feature
you will also need a program that is called wad manager.
best thing you can do is download the softmod for dummies reloaded its on this site set up a sd card just the way they show you in the tutorial once this is done pop the neogamma.wad file into the apps folder and the wad folder on your sd card (i say both cause i cant remmember which one) once this is done pop the sd card into the wii go to homebrew channel and select wad manager click load then select the neogamma wad and install
now load your games through the neogamma channel on your wii making sure you turn the 002 fix on

apart from all of that you may also need to update your iso to rev14

    hope this helps

    Default newbie here

Hi i had the same problem with the 002 error, i was using usb loader and the back up loader, every time i tried to play a back up iso of the game hasbro games night 2 a blue screen would appear and the error 002 would appear. After reading the posts and learning from everyone i installed the neogamma loader and usb loader gx i can now play the game from either my old laptop hardrive on usb or run it from the dvd disc. I have system 4.0e. Thank you to all the posts and thankyou for the information.
